This is a documentary about the Greek land of ancient Chalkidiki and Macedonia. Chalkidiki and especially the Athenian colony of Stageira was the birthplace of Aristotelis, one of the most famous Greek philosophers. Aristotelis is one of the greatest ancient Greek philosophers. He was born in 384 BC in the Athenean colony of Stageira in Chalkidiki, his father was a doctor and his name was Nikomahos! After his father’s death, he was raised by his uncle, Proksenos. In 367 BC he became Plato’s student in Athens. Aristotelis was also the teacher of Alexander the Great. King Filippos wanted his son to get in touch with the wisdom of his Greek heritage and Aristotelis was the perfect teacher! In fact Alexander said “To my father i owe my life, but to my teacher i owe my good life”. it’s nice to know that there are workarounds to the iweb restriction. I have to be honest. Because of the publishing limitation imposed by iweb I resorted to using wordpress to do so. Even though I love iweb, and the awesome user interface. I needed a universal platform to blog from wherever so I had to leave iweb behind.
