Actually I just had this problem TODAY!! I called Sony and they helped me. Ok, try turning your ps3 off, and then your TV. Now turn your TV on and then hold down the power button on the ps3 until u hear the THIRD BEEP. Then let go. You will need to control using the USB cable plugged into your controller and the system to control for a little while but otherwise this should work.
