Who is themoderndisciple
I don’t mind to be called the modern disciple. But then you might ask, who is actually your mentor(s) ? And I would respond: I have quite a few mentors or spiritual teachers actually. If I acknowledge this fact correctly, then Siddharta Gautama would be the first, then Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, then the Stoics, Epictetus, Hermes, Jesus Christ, Krishna and the modern philosophers from East-West: Jiddu Krishnamurti, Paramanhansa Yogananda, Osho, Titch Naht Hanh, Pema Chodron,Mother Teresa, Dalai Lama,Eckhart Tolle, Andrew Cohen, Ken Wilber and Maharaji. I am a modern disciple and my name is Jesus Manuel. Come on don’t take this seriously, it is for entertaining purposes but also to inform and communicate uplifting messages that are fundamental for life. It’s between the two: Entertainment and Education at the same time. It’s about learning something and having fun while doing it. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
