Hey. I agree with most of what you are saying and the way you say it – There is a lot of Common Sense in it. But have you ever considered that ”spirit” does not exist and that all that is Here is in Fact us, Human Beings, the Earth and everything as it is?

You are right on! Avoiding the negative within ourselves only serves to perpetuate it. I found an “ancient age” tool to help me (as opposed to a new age one
) to rise above my negativity. It actually removes it from my enegy field. Like you, I was like most other people…feeing separate, and fearful. This tool is amazing, as you will see in the testimonials I have posted… ❤

As it is so often stated, life is what we make of it, civilization being the good example. It is not that civilization is destroying the planet, but what we make of it, or more to the point, what we are not making of it. We are not realizing the potential of that which we have created, for as of yet we have no single or unified perspective within the collective consciousness as a species, no common awareness. We suffer, as you so aptly put it, from the illusion of separateness.

Glad that i was a part of the day you awoke from the terrible illusion of society

Yes, the “alot in addition” is to get others to practice it too without pressurising them into it.
Give them the plusses and keep it simple.
We are one mind checking itself out subjectively across space.
Keep well and be happy my friend.

I agree – I think “bliss-filled oneness” or constant anger are both detrimental as dominant moods – I think there is a time for frustration and anger throughout the course of one”s day or week, and also a time for positivity — both can serve as action-instigators (and of course anger and positivity can coexist – perhaps I should have said a time for anger and a time for calm)

Yes I have noticed a change and I do meditate, and i value it a lot, but I think we need to do alot in addition to meditation.
July 10th, 2010 at 9:33 pm
Thank you, and yea I think it was a long chain of changes and events which led to civilization, and then a likely progression to where we are now. Now we are being forced to evolve our consciousness or die as a species, along with all the species we take down with us.
July 10th, 2010 at 10:19 pm
Yea, I somewhat agree, I think that its OK to go through angry phases, which do often lead to action, but having anger as one”s dominant mood does all the things i mentioned, zaps energy and creativity, makes one see the bad in others, etc.

Separation!
A nail hit squarely on the head.
Balance must be restored.

“I used to ……..”
So you”ve noticed a change?
Congratulations!
Your awake.
Meditate twice a day and claim your inheritance.

I think you articulated the idea of seperation causing civilization well. That”s the open question, why did this begin? Chellis Glenndining talks about the “original trauma” that must”ve happened to people to start this. It”s a big question philosophically and anthropologically. No one really knows why anyone would do it, they”d have to be crazy! Whether civilization begins and causes seperation, or the other way around, we can save two birds with one stone.

I dont think anger is good or bad per se. Anger can be a motivator. If an individual is not at all angry about the problems of the world, they are less likely to solve them. Of course, anger can also be detrimental, and lead to depression, which makes people less likely to solve problems. One should not try to get rid of anger, but rather, control it to the point that its not destructive.
