He was born in 384 BC in the Athenean colony of Stageira in Chalkidiki, his father was a doctor and his name was Nikomahos! After his father’s death, he was raised by his uncle, Proksenos. In 367 BC he became Plato’s student in Athens. Aristotelis was also the teacher of Alexander the Great. King Filippos wanted his son to get in touch with the wisdom of his Greek heritage and Aristotelis was the perfect teacher!
