In your opinion? Describe why it exists, and what purpose does it serve in our everyday lives.
I believe that metaphysically minded people are the reason we have space travel, and the Star Trek, and Matrix movies, don’t you?

I want to learn meditation. My purpose or goal in meditating is to gain access to a deeper level within myself, live in a state of clearer consciousness, enhance creativity and problem solving skills, and dispel anxiety and negativity.

Can I do this without following a specific path? Will I attain my goals by just jumping in and doing it? … I’ve tried reading and studying different methods and philosophies, but find that I get too caught up in the details and don’t make any progress.

The problem is, I’m not sure where or how to begin. Any advice?

I need the names of a few Philosophers who have good works about Epistemology from the Late Modern Era (The time when names like Soren Kierkegaard were still around). Also, if you know any other names from other Eras, let me know as well, but I need a Philosopher from the Late Modern Era specifically for a paper I have due on Epistemology.
