How would you describe modern philosophy?
Friday, August 12th, 2011Question by NoOne: How would you describe modern philosophy?
What strikes me most is the switch in thinking and the return to sophism after the turn to the subject. Thanks mostly to philosophers like Descartes, Kant, and Hume.
What is your idea, however, in regards to modern philosophy, sophism, and objective/subjective truths?
So philosophy is only a confusing, pointless dieing subject? That is certainly disheartening. I am not surprised that the minds of today have been leaving societies such as this and ours. It seems that critical thought and thinking is not valued anymore? Am I wrong?
