Question by electron: Why is Rabindranath Tagore the greatest poet philosopher of modern India being ignored in our literatures?
Life is not worth living with out art. In the new decadent times we appear to prefer violence,insensitivity,cheap obscenity-oriented humor etc. Our tastes are reflected in our TV,cinema,periodicals etc. The word Tagore is unheard of in our intellectual life nowadays
