Absolute Understanding – Could It Be?
by Tatiana Velitchkov © 2009

What is the absolute understanding or reality? Man is convinced that it is the actions that create reality because actions are also thoughts. The words pronounced in speech or heard in the mind have been rated as reality. There still remains room to define what reality really is. Thoughts, spoken or written words are continuously changing and therefore they should not be deemed as reality because reality demands eternity and invariableness. Everything in the world is neither eternal nor unchanging. Therefore what is real?

Throughout history man has been dependent on time. He has had the desire to control everything that is around him. Man has yet to determine whether life experiences are real, for example Love. Is love real? The reality of this words “I love you” are questioned when love’s consequences are examined.

If love was real the consequences should be either terrible or pleasing but not both. Love is stated as real and backed by loyalty and trust yet disloyalty and mistrust is easily conveyed. Then there is the break of love which if it was real this would not be so. Similar to this is the paradox of the words referring to religion and every day life.

The reality of human beings lies within the scope of time. If it were in line with time would life be eternal? Since eternity does not contain time. Since time exists it goes together with death and to man death is a reality. So if man acknowledges that death is real then everything is supposed to be dead. So if death were real is it present in life. Is life alive? Man expresses life as a great energy flow demonstration that appears and disappears from simple to large, simple to complex of all creatures.

This man constantly seeks to bond with and yet every moment life slips away while man is unaware. In life man is constantly in search of an identity that is always in the making. No one can control mould life to fit his way in his mind. It is only that at times life unfolds with accuracy that it gives an expression of control. The bottom line remains that life is unpredictable and spontaneous with no notice of what is about to happen. Life is constantly transforming itself from one form to another. So how can we say that life is real?
