Do you believe that science is at odds with religion and philosophy? If so, what strategies could one take in dealing with this conflict? If not, how do you think some people are able to reconcile the differences between science and religion?

it’s religion and philosophy who are envious of science’s progress and respect.

I believe there is no conflict as religion and philosophy try to explain what science can not (yet)

Philosophy is about asking questions and keeping an open mind. Something which religion obviously doesn’t approve.
Religion is based on dogmas, which are unquestionable truths. The very idea of a truth not being questioned is completely alien to any respecting philosopher.

why are you confusing relgion with “closed mindedness?”
yes, many people in religious terms are not tolerant, but that doesn’t mean you can judge a whole religion of people based of the few you’ve met or seen

and sometimes religion is needed to bring into SOME aspects of philosophy

At its heart Christianity is about the destruction of all those who don’t accept God, irregardless of the type of person they were, and paradise for all those who accept God, irregardless of the type of person they were.

If you accept jesus on your deathbed, you get a mansion, forgetting all the lives you might have destroyed as you lived you own.

So should Christianity really be classified as a moral religion or an immoral philosophy.

There is some philosophy surrounding atheism, but its arguing for atheism. Atheists live their live and believe whatever philosophy they want!
And believing in a philosophy is not a religion; religion involves believing in a god(or gods) that watch over us.
Atheism is just not believing in any gods, that doesn’t make it a religion. I don’t believe in the tooth fairy, does that count as a religion? No.

Religion credits a single omnipotent being with all of the unanswered questions.
Philosophy may eventually come to the same conclusion, but most philosophers are atheists, and come up with different solutions to the unanswered questions.
